Lecture for Every One

Sarah Vanhee

Concept and text : Sarah Vanhee en collaboration with : Juan Dominguez Rojo, Berno Odo Polzer, Dirk Pauwels, Kristien Van den Brande organization of welcome) and site : Edith Goddeeris et Lauren Lenoir for KOMM’N’ACT with : Mylène Lauzon

Sarah Vanhee likes to slip into the crevices of daily life, making her way into circles that are not hers and using her voice wherever it is not expected. That is how she invites herself unexpectedly in meetings and makes the most of the participants' attention to give a brief lecture. Fifteen minutes of a text that she wrote and that addresses the notion of "living together". In Marseille, the Quebec poet Mylène Lauzon will give these talks in various parts of the city. These meetings on site will be unannounced, but after this week of talks, Sarah Vanhee will offer a performing version followed by a meeting with the public, so as to introduce and share her artistic, simple and unusual project that questions the "collective" while reaching out to everyone.
