Call for applications
young choreographers from Région Sud
Parallèle is developing a new program of workshops and professional integration for 6 young choreographers from Marseille, the South of France, Morocco and Tunisia. This support cycle is dedicated to artists who are choreographers in their own right, and who have produced 1 to 3 choreographic works to their credit. This professionalization program will offer a complete set of complementary actions - from tools to professional visibility, including residencies, artistic mentoring and co-production.
It will promote professional structuring, encounters with industry professionals and artistic reinforcement through mentoring by 3 artists: Maud Blandel, Katerina Andreou and Dorothée Munyaneza. The Mediterranean dimension will link artists from the South in a shared vision of solidarity.
The resources deployed will be human (information and support workshops, mentoring, communication), financial (co-production) and physical (studio residencies).
