Sainte Thérèse de Lisieux, Daniel Paul Schreber, Louise du Néant: the artists of Mathieu Ma Fille Foundation pay a visit to the mystics. Not that they feel close to them, but they feel an attraction, despite the distance between them… Religious ecstasy, psychotic delirium, their fine boundaries are at the heart of this new creation. A fiction where the sacred meets the secular, adoration meets hallucination. The following are summoned to play a part: mundane chickpeas, French hospital blankets, bodies, words and sounds. As usual, the Marseille collective expose the subject matter to the weather of their practice, which is definitely multi-faceted and which will be able to catch in its net what cannot be embodied.

The Far North at stake here is Canadian. Huge woods covered with snow, remote frozen lands where a man chooses to go, seeking what he cannot put into words. As a wise reader of London and Haines, but without straying from multidisciplinary writing which is so dear to him, Arnaud Saury recounts this journey. Travelling with his dog, the man will die stupidly because he couldn't light a fire. A tragic story? Not quite. In this show where limited means increases inventiveness, comedy is also part of the adventure. Which is why the stage director has decided to entrust just one witness with telling this disaster: the dog. So as to fathom human nature with a dog's intuition.
