In the context of transformation of Colombia, three young Colombian photographers – Hilda Caicedo, Andrés Donadio and Laura Quiñonez – and two French female photographers – Leslie Moquin and Émilie Saubestre – who all graduated from Arles National School of Photography, have carried out during a residency an artistic and cultural work on Colombian lands.

Historical or intrinsic on the one hand, ethnographic on the other, the many outlooks of the photographers create a sample of materials. The collective exhibition presents this multiplicity of visions on the exploration of a plural space. From Barranquilla to Cali and Bogotá, they all addressed this changing material that the territory is with the same desire: connecting it to the richness of its culture and to those who used to or still inhabit it.

MILIEU

Milieu restitue le travail collectif, prenant des formes originales : d’une part l’exposition est conçue comme une boîte rassemblant les productions des étudiants et réalisée avec l’artiste Dieudonné Cartier, d’autre part l’édition n’est pas un livre conventionnel mais un leporello (dépliant) de 10 mètres de long contenu dans la boîte.
