What happens right before the downfall?
A silent choreography for our ever-escaping present and our uncertain future.
Domino deals with the topic of epidemic collapse and the main focus lies on the survivors. A chain reaction or domino effect, which then leads to a state of panic.
An interchange of snapshots, fragmented panels of a world coming to an end, and people coming to terms with the void, alternate on stage, in an intense, absurd and nostalgic way.
The sound and aesthetic universe of the performance are generated by precocious and forgotten recordings of the 19th and early 20th century as well as by choreographies of the same times.
Through activating something of our fragile present, we achieve a collective back fall.
Our new project is part of the frame of a simple, predefined situation, the collapse of an era, a generation, an economic system and a living organization.
It is a reaction to the generalized values and social downfalls of our times.
An often forgotten collective mourning of the past and of that of the uncertain future.
